WHAT IS RECRON FIBER, WHY WE ADD IT IN CONCRETE AND ITS BENEFITS?

 RECRON FIBER


Recron 3s is a virgin polyester & polypropylene monofilament fibre. It is a specially Engineered and shaped (Triangular) synthetic fibre for use in concrete and mortar to Overcome shortcomings of concrete. Triangular fibres provide higher surface bonding.

Recron fibre is used to obtain aim of improving the quality of concrete. The Recron fibre spread across entire section, when used in low dosage and also arrests cracking in concrete. Recron is a state of art reinforcing material which is used to increase the strength in variety of applications like filtration fabrics, asbestos cement sheets, cement based pre-cast products and for improving quality of construction. Recron fibre has a triangular cross section with cut length of 6, 12 or 18 mm which is being widely used in the Indian Construction industry market. At a specified dosage of 0.25% by weight of cement there are millions of fibres which form a three dimensional mesh in the concrete. The spacing is approximately less than 1mm between any two fibre filaments in any coordinate of the matrix thereby improving the mechanical properties.
